FREEDOM FORD NEWSLETTER
Ford is Full Throttle...
As a manufactor, no single brand has ever won as many automotive excellence awards from Popular Mechanics as Ford did this year. As a dealer, we take pride in selling vehicles that Consumer Reports said has better reliability than the Toyota Camry and the Honda Accord. With a wide range of quality products focusing on safety and reliability, it feels good in knowing we sell innovative, safe and reliable vehicles to this community at a fair price.
Ford is known for their slogan "Built Ford Tough" This is not only true for their F-Series which is the top selling pickup and truck for 34 straight years but as a company, who said no to the Feds for a handout, forged ahead, and came out on top winning the North American Car of the Year Award for the 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid and the North American Truck of the Year Award for the 2010 Ford Transit Connect. This is only the third time in 17 years that one manufacturer has won both titles.
I invite you and your family to come to Freedom Ford on Route 52 in Beacon and test drive one of our award winning vehicles like the Ford Fusion, winner of the 2010 Motor Trend Car of the Year. You can also check out the user-friendly technologies in the 2010 Ford Taurus that won the Edmunds.com Technology Breakthrough Award and was dubbed Esquire Magazine's first-ever "Car of the Year".
So Please stop in today and experience the Ford difference for yourself.
The Community Foundation
The Community Foundation is your first resource for everything charitable. The Foundation umbrellas all local charities and areas of need by allowing individuals and groups to apply for grants and scholarships. A panel of professionals and local business people review all applications, verify need, legitimacy, local impact and lasting impact. Donations and fund monies go where they will make the most difference. There is never a questions of "What is this money really being used for?" Every donation absolutely makes a difference right here in our community.
Donors can choose a specific area of interest, for example, education, the arts, the environment, the needy etc., or a specific geographical area they would like their funds to aid. Individuals can also set up funds that will last as their legacy, long after they are gone. Your fund donations can be as specific or general as you like. Contrary to what you may think, you don't have to start with a lot of money to make a lasting impact. We administer small and large funds, and everything in between.
In 2008 The Community Foundation awarded over $1.4 million in grants and scholarships in Dutchess, Putnam, Ulster and surrounding counties. In this time of finacial woes we have invested wisely and can report that we have beaten our benmarks and outperformed most community foundations nationally. Wow! All this right in our own backyard... and that is the point. We are your Community Foundations! If you'd like to learn more, give the Foundation a call at 845-452-3077 or visit us on the web at
